Home should be the representation of childhood memories. With the design of home, I would like to reconstruct family members’ fond memories of their childhood homes.
What properties should a home possess when it is seen as a co-living space for a family? I put emphasis on the relationships between personal corners and main sharing space. From a cozy chair to a personal working platform, they generate a sense of belonging to the home space for each family member. Personal corners are designed closely connected to the main sharing space. In the main sharing space, family members can read and do activities together. In the personal corners, they can work on their own while feeling others’ movement.
