By eroding the artificial landscape, this aquarium imitates tide pools which shred lands and sea into tiny pieces at an intertidal zone. Since the building is separated into fragments by the sea, it is hard for visitors to distinguish the edge between land and sea when walking through. In the same way, the space that alternates between natural sea and the artificial fish tanks obfuscate the edge between wilderness and cages. This aquarium is a path for people to explore the sea, not a demonstration of the sense of dominance.
