2017 Student Summer Seminar / Best Award

Combining plastic bags (lacking stiffness) and plastic cups with different caliber and arrayed intensively. The plastic cups, due to the difference of caliber and pattern, could change into compression members. The plastic bag could transform into a tension member. By using these members (tension and compression), we could build a dome about 1500 mm by diameter with only common plastic bags and plastic cups 75 mm by caliber.
